Happiness Illusion
Would you rather be happy due to being fooled into believing that something you are being forced to do/experience/live by makes you happy (how? Controlled drug release, early-age conditioning, not allowing you to know that something happier exists), or would you prefer to potentially know everything about the world around you and not always be happy?
I'd like to go with the latter myself; I believe we all live almost two thirds of the way into the latter, and most people don't stray too far from that.

Re: Happiness Illusion
I think this is an illusion: The way you do something that spreads a smile on your face for 3 minutes and immediately disappears. Rinse and repeat.
I call this artificial satisfaction, as well. Something cold and unfeeling gives us a gleam of "sunshine".
