So calm, quiet, cool, and relaxing. Most have gone to bed, things have closed, the night is empty... the night is yours.
I love night as much as the day, you can have everything to yourself (granted, you make little noise) and no one can complain since they're sleeping. Also, because sometimes there's quite a large amount of conflict at my house; sometimes staying awake at night helps gain back the serene mentality.

Yeah, I do enjoy the night. Even though it can play a lot of mind tricks, it's still rather beautiful.

I actually like night more than the day... counting if I can actually sleep when it's over.

My newfound insomnia might have a positive side to it. It brings out things that aren't there, but it also made me take comfort for the light of the moon... when it finally comes out in this constant rainy mess. The light makes me feel more safe with a sort of crazed thought that it keeps the terrible things around here at bay.
