Abandonment
I just remembered/rediscovered this forum while going through old, old instances of my username. I'm facing pivotal points in my life at the moment and I kind of need a moment to go back and reflect on my past. In this process I found this place.
I recognize some names. Some people I never spoke to, some I did, some I still do on a very regular basis. But above all there's a mild depression that comes with the fact that -- I forgot this existed. Things can be forgotten? Left behind? What a startling, gripping concept.
It's difficult and melancholic to imagine putting any shred of effort into something for it to drop only into total obscurity.
Hm.
